Montville Woman Indicted as a Repeat Drunken Driver
Resident allegedly found twice to be impaired in New York.

A Montville woman has been indicted as a repeat drunken driver in connection with her arrest on Route 59 in Clarkstown N.Y., according to Rockland County District Attorney Thomas Zugibe.
Rita Cuesta-Iulo, 36, of 40 Brittany Road, Montville, has been indicted by a Rockland County grand jury in New City on charges of driving while intoxicated as a felony, driving while ability impaired by drugs as a felony, driving while ability impaired by the combined influence of drugs and alcohol as a felony and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Zugibe said that on Feb. 27, a member of the Rockland County Sheriff's Department spotted Cuesta-Ilua driving eastbound on Route 59 in Clarkstown at 4:11 a.m. When she was stopped, Zugibe said the officer found Cuesta-Iulo to be allegedly intoxicated.

Cuesta-Iulo refused to submit to a chemical test of her blood and she was also found to be in possession of Alprazolam or Xanax, Zugibe said. The drunken driving charge against her is a felony becuase of a previous conviction for DWI in December 2004 in Clarkstown.
