Rite Aid Offers $2,500 Reward for Robbery Info

Police probe into Oct. 7 robbery of North Beverwyck Road drug store continues.

The Rite Aid Pharmacy Corporation is offering a $2,500 reward to anyone with information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects who robbed its North Beverwyck Road branch last Oct. 7, Parsippany Police announced Thursday.

Two men—one claiming to have a gun—approached a cashier at the front of the pharmacy in Lake Hiawatha and fled with $300, police said.

PPD spokesperson Ptlm. Earl Kinsey said police seek two men believed to be in their early 20s and described as white, thin and about 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9 in height. At the time of the robbery, one man was wearing a grey hooded-sweatshirt with “Tapout” written on the chest and the other was wearing a black baseball cap and a black sweatshirt.
