Senior Olympics Hosted at Chelsea of Montville

The Chelsea assisted living residence, 165 Changebridge Road, hosted young people from the Recreation Program for five weeks this summer, resulting in some memorable art work and a little bit of Olympic glory.

Campers visited the Chelsea and mingled with the senior residents, creating ceramics, posters and other pieces as part of "Camp Chelsea."

This year, the Chelsea also staged its own Senior Olympics, which included individual and team competitions with several other Chelsea residences. Campers participated in the Chelsea Olympics as well. Montville Mayor Tim Braden participated in the Closing Ceremonies, presenting gold, silver and bronze medals to Chelsea Senior Olympians.
