Executive Director Kahra Buss explained, “Over 1 in 10 students in the Moorestown School system receive a free or subsidized lunch and or breakfast every day of the school year. When the school year ends in June, it is the start of a period of great need, as families lose that subsidized source of nutrition for their children. The contribution of the Moorestown Lacrosse Club will be really important to many families, and it comes at the most crucial time of year. We hope to work with the Lacrosse Club to grow this initiative each year in the future, and we are extremely grateful for their contribution.”
