Marissa Colbeck (an eighth grader at ) collected over 230 food items for her 14th birthday. She delivered them to the Cathedral Kitchen in Camden, along with her friend, Maggie Mlynek. The mission of the Cathedral Kitchen is to provide essential life services that support the health and well-being of those in our community and, in doing so, to affirm each person’s humanity and dignity while guiding them towards self-sufficiency. The items Marissa donated were put in take-home bags that were distributed to people after they have eaten for a meal to prepare at home.
