MOORESTOWN, NJ — Antique coloring books are now on display in the vestibule at the Moorestown Library. They are presented by William and Carole Lokan-Moore, who describe themselves as old school teachers who love to educate folks on the importance of coloring books.

“Not only do they entertain, but they also educate, by finding Historic places, towns, locations, scenic events, all are in coloring books to inform the reader as they color,” Carole Lokan-Moore said. “The physical aspect of holding a crayon, and staying within the lines, is an age-old custom, from kindergarteners to seniors who have disabilities and post stroke victims. So coloring books provide benefits for all members of the family.”

The display also includes collectible Crayola Crayon boxes. The books represent a life of travel around the world, as indicated by many historic places drawn in the coloring books.
