Baby Critically Injured After Driver Ran Through Red In BurlCo Crash: Police
The baby remains hospitalized in critical condition, officials said Saturday night.
EVESHAM, NJ — A baby was critically injured after a tractor-trailer ran through a red light and caused a three-vehicle crash Saturday in Evesham, police said.
The crash happened around 12:30 p.m. at the intersection of Route 70 and Locust Avenue, police said.
The tractor-trailer driver ran through the red light, causing a crash with two other vehicles, police said. One of the vehicles — a minivan — was carrying a 1-year-old, who sustained life-threatening injuries, authorities said.

First responders treated the baby on-scene before bringing the child to Cooper University Hospital. The baby is in critical condition, police said just before 8 p.m. Saturday.
Another person was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

All involved parties stayed at the scene and are cooperating with the ongoing investigation, police said.
No charges have been announced as of Saturday evening. Police withheld the identities of all involved.
Route 70 was closed in both directions for several hours after the crash.
