Back To School: 2021-22 School Calendars In Moorestown

MOORESTOWN, NJ — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Moorestown, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in the Moorestown Public School District and at Moorestown Friends School.

The first day of school for students in the public school district is Sept. 8, while students at Moorestown Friends School head back to the classroom Sept. 9.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change as the coronavirus pandemic nears its year-and-a-half point. A mix of in-person, virtual and hybrid learning is still possible in Moorestown.

The public school district has posted safe return to school plans ahead of the upcoming academic year. Under the proposed plan, the school district will follow the state Department of Health's guidelines for wearing masks, and adjust its practices accordingly. Moorestown Public School District

• First Day: Sept. 8
• Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 25-26 (double check if your district has the 24th off)
• Winter Break: Dec. 24-31
• Spring Break: April 15-22
• Last Day: June 17

Moorestown Friends School

• First Day: Sept. 9
• Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 24-26 (double check if your district has the 24th off)
• Winter Break: Dec. 20-31
• Spring Break: March 28 through April 1
• Last Day: June 10
• Commencement: June 11
