Burlington Co. Teen Charged In Carjacking, Police Say

An 18-year-old from Gloucester City has been charged in connection with a carjacking that took place in the city earlier this month.

GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ - An 18-year-old from Gloucester City has been charged in connection with a carjacking that took place in the city earlier this month.

Tre’ssan C. Braxton was charged with first degree robby and various weapons charges in connection with the April 16 incident, Gloucester City police said in a statement. The carjacked vehicle, which was taken following a carjacking on Division Street, was found the next day, police said.

It wasn’t immediately clear where police found the stolen vehicle.

Braxton is lodged at the Camden County Correctional Facility pending a detention hearing.
