Dead Body Found in Camden Trash Can: Authorities

Police say the as yet unidentified remains could have been been there as long as a year.

A man whose remains were found off Route 676 near Morgan Boulevard in Camden Friday may have been there as long as a year, authorities said, and Camden County Police are asking for the public's help in trying to identify him.

The remains—found in a trash can, according to one report—were of a black man between 18 and 25 years old, police said, and no cause of death could be determined.

The man stood about 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighed between 150 and 175 pounds, police said, and had extensive dental work, including crowns on four of his front teeth. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.
