Fall Schedule for Leaf Collection, Hydrant Flushing

Mark these dates on your calendar.

No need to break out the rake yet, but it's definitely not too early to start thinking about it.

The first round of leaf collection begins on Oct. 21 and runs through November. Print out this page and stick it on your fridge, or save a tree and bookmark this page for when you need it.

Here's the complete schedule for the first round of Moorestown leaf collection:

  • District 3 (trash day is Wednesday) — Leaves raked curbside by 7 a.m. Oct. 21; collection from Oct. 21-25
  • District 2 (trash day is Tuesday) — Leaves raked curbside by 7 a.m Oct. 28; collection from Oct. 28-Nov. 1
  • District 1 (trash day is Monday) — Leaves raked curbside by 7 a.m Nov. 4; collection from Nov. 4-8
  • District 4 (trash day is Thursday) — Leaves raked curbside by 7 a.m Nov. 11; collection from Nov. 11-15
And the second round:
  • District 3 (trash day is Wednesday) — Leaves raked curbside by 7 a.m. Nov. 18; collection from Nov. 18-22
  • District 2 (trash day is Tuesday) — Leaves raked curbside by 7 a.m Dec. 2; collection from Dec. 2-6
  • District 1 (trash day is Monday)  — Leaves raked curbside by 7 a.m Dec. 9; collection from Dec. 9-13
  • District 4 (trash day is Thursday) — Leaves raked curbside by 7 a.m Dec. 16; collection from Dec. 16-20
The township will also be flushing hydrants throughout the month of October, from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. Water service should not be interrupted, though some residents may experience a drop in pressure or volume for a short period.

If the water appears discolored, give it a few hours to clear up, then run COLD water until you're sure the water's cleared. And avoid doing laundry until the water is cleared.
