Why Go: An adaptation of the hit movie (minus Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore) put on by the Burlington County Footlighters, this story revisits 1980s New Jersey to tell the story of a jilted groom and wedding band performer whose dreams of being a singer/songwriter have faded, until he meets a girl who inspires him—but who comes with her own complicated life. Director/choreographer Sarah Dugan and musical director Ryan Wyrofsky, both of Moorestown, have guided an energetic cast that includes Sean Flaherty as Robbie Hart and Robynn Hecht as Julia Sullivan. The show runs the next three weekends.

Why Go: Catch classic rock guitarist Dave Mason—formerly of Fleetwood Mac and a contemporary of the Beatles, the Rolling Stones and Jimi Hendrix—at an acoustic performance in Collingswood this weekend.

Why Go: Grab a little bit of classical string quartet and Latin-American music, throw in a dash of Salvador Dalí, and you've got the Dali Quartet. Their unique repertoire creates an extraordinary concert experience that takes listeners on an eclectic journey of rhythm and sound. The West Jersey Chamber Chorale & Brass will host the concert.
