E-Biker Killed In Hit-And-Run In Burlington Co.: Police

Police asked the public for help identifying the vehicle that may have been involved.

MOUNT LAUREL, NJ — An e-bike rider was fatally struck in a hit-and-run early Monday in Mount Laurel, authorities said.

Police were dispatched to the crash scene just before 12:15 a.m. on the 1100 block of Route 73 southbound. They discovered that a white SUV struck a man on an e-bike and fled the area before officers arrived.

The victim — Anthony Caprio III, 49, of Magnolia — was pronounced dead at the scene.

Efforts to identify the SUV driver remain underway. Mount Laurel police shared photos of the vehicle that may have been involved.
