Group Holding 2nd Meeting on Lenola Redevelopment

Land Resource Solutions CEO Jeff Dey says the group will present additional information regarding the proposed project at the Lenola Auto Mall site.

The firm behind the proposed redevelopment of a long-vacant Lenola property will hold another meeting Wednesday to seek public input on the project.

Jeff Dey, CEO of Land Resource Solutions (LRS), told Patch Friday that he and his partners will hold a second public meeting at the Lenola Fire Hall at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday to solicit further input from residents.

The group, which specializes in the remediation and redevelopment of contaminated sites, has proposed turning the vacant former Lenola Auto Mall site—at the corner of Camden and Cottage avenues—into a multi-use property, incorporating retail and "high-end" rental units.

Dey and his partners held a meeting last month, during which a number of residents expressed some concerns about the plan—and in a couple cases, outright rejected it.

According to Dey, LRS will present some additional information, including traffic data, during Wednesday's meeting.

"We're going to present a couple options based on the feedback we got at the last meeting," he said.
