MOORESTOWN, NJ — The budget process in Moorestown begins this month with the annual public hearing involving department heads, township officials announced this week.
The township’s administrative code stipulates that each November, the township manager requires “all department heads to submit requests for appropriations for the next ensuing budget year, and to appear before him at public hearings, which shall be held during that month, on various requests.”
Township Manager Kevin Aberant will conduct this year’s hearing on Nov. 22, 4:30 p.m., in the council chambers at town hall, 111 West Second Street. All interested people will be heard.
