Police investigate several thefts, including the snatching of the sign outside Gaetano's.

Dec. 26
Theft, 10:45 a.m. — Someone stole the sign out in front of Gaetano’s Restaurant on Main Street, police said. The sign, valued at approximately $175, is reportedly large and heavy and would probably require more than one person and a vehicle to steal it, according to police.
Dec. 27
Theft, 6:13 a.m. — Police said equipment—a hubcap, three gas caps and a large strap—was stolen from two construction vehicles parked by the train station on Front Street and North Forklanding Road.
Jan. 1
Theft, 2:37 a.m. — Police said a gold Coach wristlet, containing various pieces of identification and a cell phone, was stolen from the Alden Cafe. The victim’s credit card was used a short time later during a transaction on Kings Highway in Cherry Hill, police said. The victim told police she believed two men who were together at the cafe stole her belongings.
