MOORESTOWN, NJ — For the second week in a row, Moorestown Council will hold a virtual meeting. It will introduce a pair of proposed bond ordinances at the meeting.

Moorestown Council will meet at 7 p.m. Monday night. It is meeting one week after it last met because its next meeting would otherwise have taken place on Oct. 11, which is Columbus Day.

Council will introduce a proposed ordinance to set aside $170,000, including the borrowing of $161,500 in bonds or notes for preliminary engineer and design expenses for painting and improvements to the Westfield Road Water Tank.

It will also introduce a proposed ordinance to set aside $375,000, including the borrowing of $356,250 in bonds or notes for improvements to the North Church Street Water Tank.

There are also seven items on the consent agenda. The meeting will be held virtually. Members of the public participating via MSTeams may participate just the same as if present in-person; the mayor will open the floor for public participation in accordance with normal protocol. To join the meeting by phone, dial 1 201-523-5900 and then enter Conference ID: 443 432 411, followed by the # sign or 1 833-450-2679 (toll free).

The meeting will also be broadcast via live stream on the Township's website. The livestream is not interactive, and you will not be able to participate in the meeting in this format.

This will bring you to the "Agendas, Minutes, Meetings & Recordings" page. Once there, click on the "Township Council Meeting" link of the meeting you wish to watch.
