Moorestown Dog Licenses Set To Expire Jan. 31

Here's how to avoid paying late fees if you have a four-legged roommate in Moorestown:

MOORESTOWN, NJ - All four-legged residents in Moorestown must be registered by the end of the month or risk a late fee, according to township officials.

All dog licenses in the municipality are set to expire on Jan. 31 and must be renewed by that date, officials said in a notice. Applications and payment must be postmarked by the expiration date.

Moorestown residents can obtain a 2023 license by mail (preferred) using this application or in person at the Municipal Clerk’s Office at Town Hall (111 West Second Street), officials said.

Application materials include proof of rabies vaccination (valid through October 2023), proof of spaying/neutering (if applicable) and a check made payable to Moorestown Township. Applicants must also include a self-addressed and stamped envelope if applying by mail.

“Renewals received that are not postmarked by the 31st will incur a late fee for each license,” the township wrote. “So, please, make every effort to renew your dog license by the 31st so you do not incur a late fee.”
