MOORESTOWN, NJ — The Moorestown Improvement Association (MIA) recently donated a new legacy bench to the First Baptist Church for use in its Community Garden, the church announced.

The church created the garden as a welcoming green space of natural beauty in the center of Downtown Moorestown.

All who happen to walk by or through the church property at 19 West Main Street (next to Passariello’s) are invited to take time to enjoy the garden’s benches, picnic table, and plantings.

The space also includes a labyrinth which visitors can trace with their steps for fun, interest, or in quiet contemplation.

“With Percheron Park still a work-in-progress, the Community Garden offers an alternative location in the business district for passers-by to stop, rest, reflect, and just soak in the beauty of a garden,” the church said in the announcement.
