MAPLE SHADE, NJ — A Moorestown man was one of two people who have been charged with driving on a soccer field that was being used by four little girls, police said on Wednesday.
Kyle Flanagan, 19, and 18-year-old Jacob M. Stevens, of Marlton, were caught on video driving a car on a turf field at the Collins Lane Athletic field in Maple Shade while four girls were playing soccer, according to Maple Shade police.
Police were alerted to the incident at 6:38 p.m. on Nov. 5, after it had already happened, police said. Police viewed video of the incident, which showed a black Nissan Altima drive through the open gates of the field from the Woodlawn Avenue side, police said.

Flanagan was the passenger, and helped the car enter onto the turf field, police said. The driver, Stevens, then drove on the turf field, causing damage to the field and endangering the girls, before leaving the same way it entered, police said.
Witnesses helped police identify the vehicle, as well as Flanagan and Stevens, police said. Flanagan and Stevens were both charged with third-degree criminal mischief, fourth-degree endangering another person and defiant trespassing, police said.
