Moorestown Menorah Lighting At Community House Dec. 1

The Moorestown Jewish Association and Chabad Lubavitch of Camden and Burlington counties will host a special event at the Community House.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — The Moorestown Jewish Association and Rabbi Kahan of Chabad Lubavitch of Camden and Burlington counties will light the community menorah during a special event at the Community House.

The Moorestown Menorah Lighting and Hannukah Celebration will take place at 6 p.m. Dec. 1 at the Moorestown Community House, 16 East Main Street in Moorestown.

“We will enjoy some traditional Hanukkah songs and fun holiday surprises,” the Moorestown Jewish Association said in the announcement.

The Moorestown Jewish Association is a welcoming, inclusive, community-focused organization open to all Jewish residents, affiliated and unaffiliated. It fosters relationships through community-based Jewish experiences, such as pop-up Shabbats, holiday events, educational activities, and fun social gatherings for our friends and neighbors of all ages.

“We support the greater Moorestown community through tikkun olam, interfaith initiatives, and community partnerships to promote the values of community and compassion,” the group says on its Facebook page.
