How do you steal 10 tons of road salt? And where do you put it when you do?

Feb. 11
Attempted burglary, 1:58 p.m. — Police said someone attempted to break into a home on the 500 block of Elm Street by trying to pry open three doors. The resident had been away since Jan. 6 and discovered the attempted break-in when they returned.
Attempted burglary, 6:38 p.m. — A burglary was thwarted after the perpetrator set off an alarm when they smashed the window in a French door at a residence on the first block of Landing Court, police said.
Feb. 15
Theft, 11:56 p.m. — Someone stole 10 tons of road salt and a forklift attachment from a parking lot on the 400 block of Route 38, according to police. The theft occurred sometime between Feb. 12 and 14.
Theft, 4:40 p.m. — A woman reported her wallet was stolen while she was shopping on the 400 block of Route 38, police said. The theft occurred between 2-2:30 p.m.
Residents are urged to contact the police department immediately at 856-234-8300 if they notice any suspicious activity in their neighborhood.
