Police respond to a stolen "no liquor licenses" sign on East Central Avenue and a cryptic grass pattern in a Pine Street resident's front lawn.

Oct. 21
Suspicious person, 4:07 p.m. — Police received a report of a suspicious person, described as a white man with dark hair in a black Cadillac, in the area of East Camden Ave and Villa Avenue. Patrols found and identified the man. He checked out OK, police said, and was moved along.
Oct. 23
Theft, 9:28 a.m. — A resident on the 400 block of East Central Avenue reported the theft of a “Vote no liquor licenses” sign sometime overnight on Sept. 22, police said.
Criminal mischief, 10:23 a.m. — A resident on the first block of Pine Street told police a pattern had been cut in the grass in their front lawn in the shape of an arrow pointing at their house.
Oct. 26
Vehicle theft, 7:33 a.m. — A white 2010 Mercedes Benz ML550 sport-utility vehicle was stolen sometime overnight on Oct. 25 from a home on the first block of Brooks Road, police said.
Oct. 27
Suspicious vehicle, 8:36 a.m. — A resident on the 300 block of Newbold Avenue told police a suspicious blue van, occupied by a man, was taking pictures of their house. Police checked the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle.
