UPDATE: Moorestown Police Investigating Similar Burglaries
Police urge residents to keep a watchful eye after three break-ins in the same area of town.

UPDATE: Police are investigating a third break-in that occurred Wednesday night on the 300 block of Park Drive.
A rear window of the home had been smashed, triggering the burglar alarm around 11:15 p.m. Police said the alarm deterred the burglar(s) from completing the crime.
The resident was not home at the time.

are investigating two burglaries with similar MOs that occurred less than two weeks apart on Golf View Road.
Police said the burglaries took place on Oct. 19 and 31 and in both cases the perpetrators forced their way in through a back door facing the . The Oct. 19 burglary happened during the day, while the Oct. 31 burglary occurred between 5:30 and 8 p.m.
In both cases, police said the burglars stole high-end jewelry and flatware, ignoring electronics.
Police urge residents to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity immediately by calling 911.
Police also offered several burglary prevention tips, including installing motion sensor floodlights outside, leaving indoor lights on timers while you’re away, setting an alarm, advising police if you’re going away for an extended period of time, and keeping photographs of jewelry/flatware and the serial numbers on electronic goods.
