Police arrest three people in credit card fraud cause and make several drug arrests.

Nov. 8

Arrest (drug possession), 11:20 p.m. — Police arrested Rene C. Ortiz, 32, of the first block of Farnwood Road, after a pedestrian stop on Route 73. Ortiz was charged with possession of crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said. He was released pending a municipal court hearing.

Arrest (DWI), 8:19 p.m. — Police arrested Michael P. Bruno, 47, of the 500 block of Buttonwood Avenue, Maple Shade, for driving while intoxicated after he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Union Mill Road, police said. He was released pending a court hearing.  

Criminal Mischief (Renaissance Club) — A resident of the 300 block of Thornwood Drive reported someone broke the glass out of a rear sliding door sometime between Nov. 7-10, police said.

Criminal mischief/trespass — Police said someone broke into a vacant residence near the 500 block of Mount Laurel Road by forcing open a rear door sometime between Nov. 3-10. Damage is estimated at $300.

Nov. 11

Theft from vehicle (Amberfield) — Sometime between 10 p.m. Nov. 9 and 8:30 a.m. Nov. 11, police said someone broke into two vehicles parked near the 200 block of Amberfield Drive and stole computers and other items, valued at approximately $1,240. Police said entry was gained by forcing the driver’s side lock. Damage is estimated at $200.

Arrest (drug possession), 11:13 p.m. — Police arrested Lisa A. Schaefer, 24, of the first block of West Third Avenue, Pine Hill, for possession of crack cocaine. She was arrested after police investigated a suspicious vehicle call on the 1100 block of Route 73, police said. She was released pending a court hearing.

Nov. 12

Arrest (credit card fraud), 2:20 a.m. — Police responded to the report of the theft of a wallet from an unattended vehicle in the 100 block of Willow Turn. The victim also told police his credit card had been fraudulently used at several stores after the theft. A subsequent investigation resulted in the arrest of three people: Desiree M. Forvour, 30, of the 200 block of Ashby Court, Angel D. Montijo, 22, of the 500 block of Hillcreek Drive, Philadelphia, PA, and Lynsie M. Parks, 26, of the 100 block of Willow Turn. Forvour was charged with credit card fraud, while Montijo and Parks were both charged with credit card fraud and receiving stolen property, police said. Forvour and Parks were released pending a municipal court hearing. Montijo was committed to Burlington County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.

Nov. 13

Theft — Employees of Johnson Controls and Castle Windows on Gaither Drive reported dumpsters their companies owned were illegally filled with construction materials. The incident occurred sometime between 3 p.m. Nov. 12 and 6:30 a.m. Nov. 13, according to police.

Arrest (DWI), 7:34 a.m. — Police arrested Hector Navarro, 22, of the 5200 block of Aberdeen Lane, Camden, after he was stopped on Church Road and charged him with driving while intoxicated. He was released pending a municipal court hearing.

Arrest (drug possession), 8:29 a.m. — Police arrested Nacona Ellison, 22, and Jamill R. McNeese, 22, both of the 6200 block of Preston Way, Mount Laurel, for possession of marijuana (under 50 grams) after they were stopped on Route 38 for a motor vehicle violation, according to reports. Ellison and McNeese were both released pending a municipal court hearing.

Nov. 14

Theft (Masonville) — A construction worker reported thefts at two unoccupied houses under construction on the 100 block of Fleetwood Avenue. Copper wire, valued at approximately $3,000, was taken. The thefts occurred between 3 p.m. Nov. 11 and 8 a.m. Nov. 14.

Theft — Police said someone stole $2,000 worth of conduit from an outside storage area at Techno Pro on Pike Road sometime between Nov. 1 and 14.

Burglary (Larchmont Place) — A resident of the 2400 block of Larchmont Place told police $6,500 cash was stolen from their residence sometime between 8 a.m. Oct. 7 and 3:48 p.m. Nov. 14. There was no sign of forced entry, police said.

Nov. 15

Criminal mischief (Parker’s Creek), 8 a.m.-1:30 p.m. — Police said a garage door was dented, causing about $500 in damage, on the 100 block of Memorial Lane.

Arrest (hindering), 12:49 p.m. — Police arrested Michael Stewart, 28, of the unit block of Teal Lane, Evesham, after he provided a false identity to an officer during a traffic stop on Route 73, according to a report. He was released pending a court hearing.
