Music, Movies and Cars Highlight Week Ahead
Also, don't forget to sign up for the Moorestown Education Foundation's annual golf outing. It'll be here sooner than you think.

Weather-wise, it should be a pleasant week, with highs in the mid- to low 80s all week (and little chance of rain based on current forecasts), so why not stop by the Perkins Center lawn Wednesday for a free concert?
The Tri-County Symphonic Band will perform an "enjoyable program of marches, Big Band and light classics" starting at 7:30 p.m. at Perkins, part of the township's 2013 summer concert series, presented by the Parks and Recreation Department.
If classic cars are more your thing, head down to the Moorestown Shopping Center parking lot (200 W. Camden Ave.) for Moorestown Cruise Night at 6 p.m. Wednesday. Donations benefit local volunteer fire companies. Check out photos from previous Cruise Nights here (courtesy of Haley's Towing).
On Tuesday, the Moorestown Community House presents another free family movie night, with a showing of Disney's Tangled. The movie starts at 6:30 in the Community House ballroom. Pack snacks and bring chairs, pillows, blankets—whatever you need to relax—and they'll take care of the rest.
Get ready to be transported to Never Never Land, as the Moorestown Theater Company presents Peter Pan Jr. this week. The show—featuring a cast between the ages of 6 and 17—premieres at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hope Community Church. Check here for additional show times and ticket information.
Starting Thursday, Aug. 1, drop off backpacks and other school supplies at the Moorestown Mall for Operation Fill-A-Backpack, a donation drive for local students in need sponsored jointly by Twin Oaks Community Service and the mall. The program runs through Aug. 26.
And don't forget to sign up now for the Moorestown Education Foundation's annual golf tournament (now in its 18th year) on Oct. 7. Click here to find out more.
