Photos: Moorestown Enjoys Nature at STEM Festival

Hundreds of people came out to Strawbridge Lake Park Sunday afternoon for the annual "STEM (Save the Environment of Moorestown) Steps Out" Open Space Festival.

Attendees had the chance to take a leisurely canoe ride across the lake*, take part in a friendly fishing competition, try some baked goods and other treats, and enjoy a performance from local band Lost in Brunswick.

The annual festival aims to educate the community about environmental issues as well, both local and global, and give all a chance to enjoy the open space.

Did you attend the festival? Email your photos to rob.scott@patch.com and I'll add them to the gallery.

*Editor's note: This editor highly recommends taking a canoe (or kayak, or whatever non-motorized marine vessel you prefer) ride across the lake. It's beautiful and quite serene.
