Police: Hamburglar Strikes Burger King Drive-Thru
Also, Mount Laurel Police investigate the theft of $20,000 worth of cash and jewelry and take a 14-year-old into custody for resisting arrest.

Aug. 21
Burglary (Ramblewood) — A burglar stole $20,500 worth of cash and jewelry from a home on the 600 block of Norwood Road sometime between Aug. 2-21, police said. Force was not used to gain entry to the residence however.
Aug. 22
Juvenile arrest (resisting arrest), 1 p.m. — Police arrested a 14-year-old Mount Laurel boy during an investigation into suspicious activity in the area of Aberdeen Drive. According to police, the juvenile was charged with violating house arrest, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest and committed to the Burlington County Juvenile Detention Facility pending a court hearing.
Theft — Police said a chainsaw, bicycle and cooler—total value approximately $350—were stolen from the backyard of a home on the 3300 block of Marne Highway sometime between April and 7:43 p.m. Aug. 22.
Theft, 7-7:45 p.m. — Someone stole an iPhone, valued at $300, from the hotel gym at the Residence Inn on Sunburst Lane, police said. A guest had left the phone there inadvertently.
Aug. 23
Arrest (drug possession), 1 p.m. — Police arrested Michael F. Bobo Jr., 26, of the unit block of Sudberry Lane, Willingboro, and Heidi P. Rivas, 20, of the unit block of Radford Place, Willingboro, after they were stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Willow Turn, according to a report. They were charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute in a school zone, possession of marijuana over 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. Additionally, Bobo was charged with illegal possession of prescription medication, police said. He was committed to Burlington County Jail in lieu of $41,000 bail, while Rivas was committed to Burlington County Jail in lieu of $19,000 bail.
Arrest (hindering), 7:25 p.m. — Police arrested Robert Benson, 44, of the unit block of Minisink Trail, Shamong, after he provided false information during a motor vehicle stop on Route 38 in an attempt to avoid a summons for driving while suspended, according to a report. He was released pending a municipal court hearing.
Aug. 24
Arrest (shoplifting) — Police arrested Lamont J. Daniels, 18, of Earnshaw Lane, Willingboro, for shoplifting $65 in merchandise from Sports Authority on Centerton Road, according to a report. He was served with criminal complaints and released pending a municipal court hearing.
Robbery, 9:01 p.m. — Police said a man was accepting his order at the Burger King drive-thru window, on the 3100 block of Route 38, when a suspect came up, grabbed the bag out of his hand and fled the scene on foot. The alleged hamburglar is described as a black male, possibly a teenager, with short hair and an athletic build, wearing light-colored shorts and a gray hoodie, police said. The victim suffered a bruise to his arm. He was treated by Mount Laurel Emergency Medical Services at the scene and released.
Theft (Pheasant Mere), 10-11 p.m. — A bicycle, valued at approximately $6,200, was stolen from a garage on Pheasant Drive, police said. The thief got in through an open door.
Aug. 25
Theft — A credit card was stolen from a room at the Hilton Garden Inn, on the 4000 block of Atrium Way, sometime between June 22 and Aug. 10, police said. There was no sign of forced entry to the room.
Arrest (drug distribution), 4:46 p.m. — Police arrested Conell Pitts, 35, of Pine Cove, Mount Laurel, at the ShopRite on Nixon Drive after patrols responded to a suspicious person complaint, according to a report. Pitts was wanted by the Burlington County Sheriff’s Department for distribution of a controlled dangerous substance. He was turned over to the Sheriff’s Department.
Arrest (possession of marijuana), 8:27 p.m. — Police arrested Brian P. Straub, 26, of the 3200 block of Primrose Road, Philadelphia, after he was stopped on South Church Street for a motor vehicle violation, according to a report. Straub was charged with possession of marijuana (under 50 grams) and released pending a municipal court hearing.
Aug. 26
Arrest (obstruction), 1:06 p.m. — Police arrested Kamei E. Caver, 25, of the 900 block of Greenwood Avenue, Trenton, after stopping her on Ark Road for a motor vehicle violation, according to a report. She was charged with obstructing for failure to comply with the officer’s directions during the stop. Caver was served with criminal complaints and lodged in the Burlington County Jail after failing to post $3,500 bail.
Arrest (DWI), 2:44 p.m. — Police arrested Stacey Pinto, 44, of the 200 block of Willow Turn, Mount Laurel, after stopping her on Hartford Road, according to a report. She was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a municipal court hearing.
Shoplifting, 11:12 p.m. — Police said a woman—described as a Hispanic female, wearing a purple shirt—stole $15 worth of merchandise from the Wawa on the 1100 block of Route 73.
Aug. 27
Arrest (DWI), 12:13 p.m. — Police arrested Kelly E. Knight, 38, of the 100 block of East Main Street, Moorestown, after she was involved in a single-vehicle accident on Union Mill Road, according to a report. She was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a municipal court hearing.
Theft, 8:45-10 p.m. — An iPhone, valued at $300, was stolen from an office inside the Funplex on Route 38, police said. There was no sign of forced entry to the building or office.
Aug. 28
Credit card theft (Laurelwood) — A resident of the 300 block of Heather Drive reported the theft of her credit card information, resulting in more than $5,000 in unauthorized withdrawals from out-of-state ATMs between Aug. 21 and 28, police said.
Aug. 29
Arrest (DWI), 12:18 a.m. — Police arrested Anthony S. Decker, 52, of the unit block of Saddle Way, Chesterfield, after he was stopped on Union Mill Road, according to a report. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a municipal court hearing.
Arrest (hindering), 3:04 a.m. — Police arrested Daniella M. Buffin, 23, of the 200 block of Pemberton Road, Browns Mills, after she gave police false information to avoid being arrested on an outstanding warrant during a motor vehicle stop on Route 38, according to a report. She was charged with hindering her own apprehension and released after posting bail on the outstanding warrant.
