Police: Man Assaulted Officers During Investigation
Also, Mount Laurel Police investigate a $25,000 fraud at Shades of Paper and search for a man and woman who ripped off Sports Authority.

Aug. 17
Theft (Larchmont), 3:30-4 p.m. — A package, valued at $50, was stolen from the doorstep of a home on the 100 block of Eton Lane, according to police.
Burglary (Holiday Village), 9 p.m. — Someone broke into a home on the unit block of East Berwin Way by forcing open the rear window, police said. Nothing was reported taken.
Arrest (DWI), 9:15 p.m. — Police arrested Edward G. Martin, 62, of the unit block of Village Court, during an investigation into a motor vehicle collision on Briggs Road, according to a report. Martin was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a municipal court hearing.
Juvenile arrest (possession of marijuana), 9:41 p.m. — Police arrested a 17-year-old Mount Laurel juvenile after he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Union Mill Road, according to a report. He was charged with possession of marijuana (under 50 grams) and possession of drug paraphernalia and released to his mother pending a court hearing.
Aug. 18
Theft — Police said someone stole a bicycle worth $100 from the unit block of Hartford Road sometime between 8 a.m. Aug. 15 and 8 a.m. Aug. 18.
Theft from vehicle (Brettonwood) — Someone stole a credit card from an unlocked vehicle on the unit block of Wembley Drive and later charged it for an unknown amount of money, police said. The theft occurred between 3 p.m. Aug. 17 and 10 a.m. Aug. 18.
Criminal mischief — Police said approximately 40 feet of fence was cut on the 500 block of Walton Avenue sometime between Aug. 14 and 3:30 p.m. Aug. 18, causing approximately $1,000 damage.
Aug. 19
Arrest (DWI), 1:30 a.m. — Police arrested Impreet Singh, 30, of the 3000 block of Crawford Place, after he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Deimer Drive, according to a report. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a municipal court hearing.
Arrest (DWI), 3:45 a.m. — Police arrested Antwione B. Hough, 41, of the 4200 block of Hellerman Street, Philadelphia, after he was pulled over for a motor vehicle violation on Route 73, according to a report. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a municipal court hearing.
Aug. 20
Criminal mischief (Spring Valley Estates) — Someone damaged a mailbox on the unit block of Broadacre Drive, causing $50 damage, sometime between 11 p.m. Aug. 19 and 4:30 a.m. Aug. 20, police said.
Fraud — Shades of Paper, on Fellowship Road, received and filed several orders for $25,000 worth of merchandise, which the company later learned were paid for with stolen credit card numbers and shipped to a fraudulent address, police said.
Shoplifting, 3 p.m. — Police said a man and woman conspired to steal a duffel bag full of merchandise from Sports Authority on Centerton Road. Employees of the store were distracted by the woman while the man walked out of the store with the bag, police said. The suspects were described as a thin black male with a light beard and a heavyset black female. They left the area in a purple full-sized GMC van, according to police. The value of the stolen merchandise is not known.
Theft — A propane tank, valued at $18, was stolen from the rear deck of a home on the unit block of Saddle Drive, police said. The theft occurred between 12 p.m. Aug. 18 and 6 p.m. Aug. 20.
Criminal mischief (Union Mill Estate), 10:30 p.m. — Someone damaged a garage door on the unit block of Watson Drive, causing an estimated $1,000 damage, according to police.
Criminal mischief (Saybrook Estate), 11 p.m. — Police said a garage door on the unit block of Hillside Lane was also damaged, to the tune of approximately $1,000.
Aug. 21
Arrest (aggravated assault) — Police arrested Scott T. Rehmann, 49, of the unit block of Autumnwood Lane, after officers responded to a residence on Buckingham Way for a disturbance. According to police, Rehmann interfered with the investigation and refused to comply with the officers. He was charged with aggravated assault on police, obstructing, and resisting arrest. He was released after posting 10 percent of $4,000 bail.
