Police: Woman Mugged in Bank Parking Lot

Moorestown Police are searching for a man who snatched a woman's purse at TD Bank Saturday.

A 61-year-old woman was mugged at the TD Bank on Marter Avenue over the weekend,  said.

The woman had just made an ATM withdrawal around 1:50 p.m. Saturday when a white man approached her in the parking lot and forcibly took her green Vera Bradley purse from her arm, knocking her to the ground, said. The purse held about $200 cash and credit cards.

Police described the suspect as approximately 6 feet tall, 180 pounds, with a 1-inch-long blond goatee, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and green-tinted sunglasses.

The victim was taken to Virtua Hospital in Mount Holly, police said, for injuries she sustained in the robbery.

The suspect was last seen running across Marter Avenue toward the 500 building of the 110 Marter Ave. office complex.

Police are asking anyone who may have been in the area near the robbery and seen anything to assist in their investigation by calling 856-914-3092.
