Route 73 Exit on I-295 to be Closed Temporarily Sunday
Utility pole installation project necessitates closure during the day Sunday.

The Route 73 South exit on Interstate 295 South in Mount Laurel will be closed from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, according to the state Department of Transportation (NJDOT).
The closure is necessary for a utility pole installation project. If the work is completed early, the ramp will be reopened accordingly, NJDOT stated in a release.
I-295 southbound motorists destined for Route 73 southbound will be directed to use Exit 34 for Route 70 eastbound to Route 73 southbound. NJDOT will use portable dynamic message signs to notify motorists of the temporary closure and detour.
