Route 38 was initially closed in both directions at the crash scene due to downed power wires, police said. Utility crews are cleaning the scene, and police said they expect cleanup to last for most of the day.
Route 38 east remains closed. Drivers should consider using Route 295 and Route 73 as alternate routes. Drivers should expect delays and use caution if driving in the area. Drivers should slow down and watch for workers in the area.
