Township Of Moorestown: Trash Update: Cans Over 32 Galloons Picked Up IF Can Has Wheels & Handles

Residents should be advised that effective March 1, 2022, the township will see a change to its trash collection procedures. Previously, the township's trash contractor did not pick up receptacles exceeding 32 gallons. Beginning March 1, the contractor will pick up cans exceeding 32 gallons if the trash can has handles and wheels.

Residents whose cans are without handles or wheels AND exceed 32 gallons will have their address written down and submitted to the Department of Public Works (DPW). DPW will advise those residents to purchase a trash can that fits the above criteria.
