Unlocked Car Stolen In Moorestown; Suspects Spotted On Camera

MOORESTOWN, NJ — An unlocked car was stolen in Moorestown early Tuesday morning, when two people trying to break into vehicles were spotted on camera, police said.
Ring camera footage showed two males testing vehicle doorhandles in the Stanwick Glen neighborhood, police said. During that time, an unlocked Volvo with the key inside was stolen.
The footage showed the unknown suspects on Sentinel, Signal Light and Stonehouse roads, authorities said.

"Patrols have been on-going during the overnight hours in all residential areas and include the use of unmarked vehicles," the Moorestown Police Department said on Tuesday.
Descriptions of the suspects weren't immediately available.

Police reminded the public to lock their vehicles and remove all valuables.
"The large majority of break-ins and thefts are due to unlocked cars," the police department said. "The most effective fight against these crimes is to always make sure your cars are locked before you go to bed and never leave keys, wallets, or purses inside."
Moorestown police urged people to call them immediately if they see anything suspicious.
