Welcome Your Soldier Home on Patch

With U.S. forces expected to be home from Iraq by the end of the year—many of them in time for Christmas—Moorestown Patch needs your help in telling their stories.

After almost nine years, the Iraq War is coming to an end. U.S. officials have said all American military personnel in Iraq will be home by the end of the year, and likely by Christmas.

Moorestown Patch wants to know about your loved ones who served in Iraq. Do you have a husband, wife, son, daughter, sister, brother, niece, nephew or cousin that will be coming home in time for the holidays? Would you like to welcome them home here on Patch?

Send Moorestown Patch editor Rob Scott—rob.scott@patch.com—your stories and photos of your loved one who is coming home. If you'd like us to write a story, reach out to Rob.

If you lost a loved one during the war and would like to honor that person, we'd be happy to do that as well. Just send Rob the information.

We'd like to run these stories before the end of the year, so please have all the information to Rob by Monday, Dec. 26, at the latest.
