Morristown Christmas Market

The Morristown Christmas Market brings a European-style indoor shopping experience to Assumption’s Rauscher Hall, featuring artisans, handmade African crafts, specialty vendors, bakers and local retailers. Attracting over 1,000 visitors annually, it’s a favorite spot for handmade gifts, holiday décor and seasonal treats. Now in its 15th year, the market continues its tradition of community and charitable giving, with all proceeds supporting Morristown-founded nonprofits Africa Surgery and The Village Angels of Tanzania.

Festive Farmyard at Fosterfields
When: Saturday, Dec. 6–Sunday, Dec. 7, 2025 | 10 AM–3 PM
Where: Fosterfields Living Historical Farm, 73 Kahdena Rd, Morristown, NJ
Enjoy a cozy countryside Christmas for just $10 per person (kids 2 and under free). Families can explore the festively decorated barnyard, watch live cooking demonstrations in the historic 1915 farmhouse and create a hands-on holiday craft. Craftsmas Open House

Candlelight Tour

Enjoy a guided tour of the beautifully decorated Log House, where you’ll learn about early 20th-century holiday traditions and Gustav Stickley’s nature-inspired approach to Christmas décor and gifting. Discover how his philosophy shaped everything from seasonal decorations to the way families celebrated the holidays. After the tour, cozy up with hot cocoa and a festive treat. Guests will also receive a commemorative ornament to take home as a special keepsake.

Home for the Holidays: A Macculloch Hall Christmas

Kick off the season at Macculloch Hall Historical Museum’s holiday opening, featuring Not a Creature Was Stirring, an exhibition of Thomas Nast’s iconic Santa illustrations. Families can enjoy festive, hands-on activities, including writing letters to Santa and making ornaments - along with hot cider and cookies served on the porch. The museum’s historic galleries will be fully decorated for Christmas, creating a warm and nostalgic setting for the celebration. Pre-registration is encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome; admission is $15 for adults, $10 for members and $5 for children.
Jolly Old Christmas
When: Saturday, Dec. 13–Sunday, Dec. 14, 2025 | 10 AM–3 PM
Where: Historical Speedwell, 333 Speedwell Ave, Morristown, NJ
Experience an authentic 1860s-style Christmas complete with Santa visits, children’s crafts and a lively reading of ’Twas the Night Before Christmas. Guests can enjoy country dancing in the beautifully decorated Carriage House and explore a Union Christmas encampment for a glimpse into holiday traditions of the era. The celebration also features hearth-cooking and blacksmithing demonstrations that bring historic skills to life.
