Alleged Drunken Driver Crashes Into Morris Plains Cop Car: Police
The crash occurred during the early hours of Thursday morning, police said.

MORRIS PLAINS, NJ — Two Morris Plains police officers were involved in a car crash early Thursday morning when an alleged drunken driver crashed into their patrol car.
In a social media post, the police department announced that early this morning, at 12:31 a.m., two officers were conducting a traffic stop when an alleged drunk driver crashed into their patrol car.
Neither of the officers were hurt in the collision, police said.

Police did not release further details about the incident but emphasized the dangers of drinking and driving, urging residents to plan ahead by designating a driver or using rideshare services to ensure safety.
"Unfortunately, too many families are not as lucky. Especially around the Holidays, but all year round, PLEASE don't drink and drive," police said.
