Drugs Found On Morris Plains Woman After Deal In Mount Olive: PD

Police caught up with the woman after she sped away and found her with pills, weed and money, police said.

MOUNT OLIVE, NJ — Police caught up with a Morris Plains woman after she sped away in Mount Olive, officials said. They found weed, money and several kinds of pills on Kimberly Lovenberg, according to authorities.

A concerned citizen contacted police at 11:29 p.m. July 8 after seeing a suspected drug transaction in an Eagle Rock Village Apartment Complex parking lot, authorities said. Officer Carson Parrott went to the scene and found a vehicle matching the description that sped away and traveled too close to another vehicle, police said.

Gardner pulled Lovenberg over and found a large bag of suspected marijuana in her front seat, along with money around the vehicle, police said. During the investigation, authorities say they found various prescription pills without a prescription and at least an ounce of marijuana.

Lovenberg was charged with possession with intent to distribute Xanax, possession with intent to distribute Oxycodone, possession with intent to distribute Amphetamine, possession of all three, possession of more than an ounce of marijuana, careless driving and drug possession in a motor vehicle. She was released pending a court hearing.
