Head to Ginty Field for a Free Country Concert Today

Like country music? Head over to Ginty Field gazebo tonight. As part of the Township of Morris Department of Parks and Recreation’s Summer Concert Series, the Due South Band will perform at 7 p.m. tonight.
“Due South is a versatile four-piece band that features the best of new and traditional country music covering a diversified songbook from Johnny Cash to Lady Antebellum,” according to the township.
Morris Township’s 2013 Summer Concert Series is sponsored by The Provident Bank and the Morris Township Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee.

At the Morristown-Morris Township Library, there’s Pre-School Craft Story Time for the young ones at 10 a.m. today. Come listen to some stories and make a simple craft to take home. All supplies are provided and the event is sponsored by The Friends of the Library.
There’s also a book sale from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. and all sales benefit the library. The sale runs from June 18 – Dec. 17 every Tuesday.

- Storytime for preschoolers, 2-5 years, from 10 – 10:30 a.m. in the Children’s Room
- Register for a computer class and learn how to use Publisher 2. It’s from 2 – 3:30 p.m. today.
- Got a creative kid? There’s a writer’s workshop for 4th – 6th graders from 7 – 8 p.m. today.
