Morris Plains PD's 'Kona With A Cop' Returns Aug. 25

MORRIS PLAINS, NJ — The Morris Plains Police Department's "Kona With A Cop" is coming back for round two next week.

"We couldn’t think of a better way to end the summer and take a break from back to school shopping with the kids in this glorious heat," the department said on its official Facebook page.

The Morris Plains Police Department invites the community to cool off with a cop on Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2021 with cool treat.

Morris Plains officers will visit the following locations, so be sure to stop by, bring the kids, grab a free Kona Ice and say "hi" to the police:

  • Watnong Park: 11 a.m.-11:30 a.m.
  • Idlewild Pool: 11:30 a.m.-12 p.m.
  • Simons Park: 12 p.m.-12:30 p.m.
  • Community Park: 12:30-2 p.m.
