Morris Plains Police Honoring 9/11 Victims With Badges
This is the fourth year the officers will don the special badges.

MORRIS PLAINS, NJ — Morris Plains police officers are honoring the victims of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks by wearing special commemorative badges all of September.
The badges, pictured above, have the phrase "Remembering Our Heroes" underneath a photo of two officers looking at the Word Trade Center towers, and a red white and blue ribbon. This is the fourth year the officers will wear these special badges.
"Officers put on their uniform daily, reminded of the sacrifices made by those who serve our communities; however, annually, during the month of September, the Morris Plains Police Department elects to demonstrate that WE WILL NEVER FORGET!" police said.
