Morris Township's Frelinghuysen Arboretum's Gingerbread Wonderland Turns 25

The display will be held from Dec. 2-11 from 10:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. and until 7:30 p.m. on Friday, officials said.

MORRIS TOWNSHIP, N.J.– The Frelinghuysen Arboretum in Morris Township is hosting its 25th annual Gingerbread Wonderland from Dec. 2-11.

"Each year, over 10,000 visitors come to view the more than 100 awe-inspiring, edible gingerbread creations," said Morris County Communications and Digital Media Manager Larry Ragonese.

According to Ragonese, previous displays included Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Santa’s Workshop, Hanukah menorahs, a grand piano, the nutcracker, and the White House.

“For feel-good, holiday fun, Gingerbread Wonderland is a must-see,” said Lesley Parness, superintendent of horticultural dducation at the Morris County Park Commission. “In addition to the amazing exhibit, on Saturdays and Sundays holiday shopping is easy at the Holiday Craft Show. Artists and crafters offer a

variety of beautiful, hand-made, and affordable gifts perfect for that special person on your list."

The Gingerbread Wonderland schedule is 10 a.m.–4:30 p.m. and until 7:30 p.m. on Fridays.

The Holiday Craft Show is open December 3–4, and 10–11 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Admission is $2 per person for both.

Groups of 10 or more must make reservations by calling (973) 326-7601.

The Arboretum is located at 353 E. Hanover Ave.
