Mosquito Spraying Around Morris County Scheduled

Spraying will take place at various communities across Morris County over the next few days.

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — As we enter the final stretch of summer, the warm weather and high humidity have led to increased mosquito activity. To address the surge in adult mosquito populations, Morris County will continue its mosquito treatments over the next few days.

The Morris County Adult Mosquito Control Operations will conduct ground-level fogging in approximately eight communities around the county.

The operation will utilize an all-terrain vehicle with a mounted sprayer, applying either Anvil 2+2 (active ingredient Sumithrin, EPA#1021-1687-8329) or Zenivex E4 (active ingredient Etofenprox, EPA#2724-807), according to the Commission.
