Police Seek Public's Assistance With Morris Plains Theft Investigation

The incident took place outside of Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace last week.

MORRIS PLAINS, NJ — The Morris Plains Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in a theft investigation.

According to the police, a bicycle was stolen last week outside of Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace on Route 10 in Morris Plains.

The incident occurred on Thursday, June 5, in the store’s rear parking lot in broad daylight. The bicycle belonged to an Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace employee.

Surveillance footage shows a person unlocking the bicycle, a TREK, and putting it in the back of their green Honda Pilot between the years 2003 and 2008. The suspect then drove off.
