Registration For Pools In Morris Township, Morris Plains Is Now Open

MORRIS TOWNSHIP, NJ — The weather may not make you feel like swimming right now, but perhaps registering for the swimming pools in Morris Township and Morris Plains will bring you warm thoughts.

Registration for the Morris Plains Community Park Pool officially opened this month. The 202e Season kickoffs on June 24 at 12 p.m. The pool will close for the season on Monday, Labor Day, Sept. 4 at 5 p.m.

The 2023 membership rates can be seen below:

Membership renewals for Ginty and Streeter Pools are also now being accepted by Morris Township. Both the Ginty and Streeter Pools are planned to open on June 3.

Prior members are allowed to register first, residents of Morris Township looking for new members can register next, and all others can register by mid-April.

Renewals are available from Mar. 1 to the end of the season for residents who were members during the 2022 season. For residents looking for a new membership, the period runs from Apr. 1 to the end of the season. All others looking for a new membership should apply between Apr. 17 and the end of the season.

Mail-in early bird registrations (now through Apr. 30) must be postmarked by Apr. 30. Rates for standard registration will increase on May 1, 2023.

Registration includes admission to both Streeter and Ginty Pool through the season. Both offer swimming lessons, a swim team program and fun special events such as Float Days, concerts and "dive-in" movies.

• Couple (2 adults or 1 adult and 1 child under age 23 by 7/1/23)* $360.00
• Individual (15 years & older) $255.00
• Sr. Citizen (62 years & older) $115.00
• Sr. Couple (Both seniors must be 62 years of age or older) $170.00
• Babysitter/Parent Helper (Must accompany member at all times) $150.00

Non-resident fees:
