VIDEO: Brush Fire Burns In Morris Plains Near Kohl’s Plaza

MORRIS PLAINS, NJ - A large brush fire was extinguished Friday afternoon in Morris Plains, fire officials said (see video of the fire below):

The blaze was reported between Kohl’s Plaza and Davis Avenue, the Morris Plains Fire Department said in a social media statement.

The fire was “quickly extinguished,” fire officials said, and was put under control in a short amount of time.

The cause of the fire was attributed to a faulty transformer, fire officials added.
