Driver, 36, Identified In Fatal Rt. 287 Crash
The accident occurred north of Exit 30 in Morris County.

Harding Twp., N.J. - A car crash on Rt. 287 in Morris County Wednesday night ended in tragedy when one person was killed, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Flynn confirmed.
The crash happened around 7:20 p.m. just north of Exit 30 on the northbound side at mile-marker 30.7, Sgt. Greg Williams said. A crash investigation shut down two lanes on the northbound side for an extended period of time.
The driver of a 2002 Honda Civic, for unknown reasons, lost control of the vehicle and ran off the right side of the highway, hit an embankment, overturned and finally came to rest in a wooded area, Williams said. The driver, who was wearing his seatbelt and pronounced dead at the scene, was identified as Madhu Namani, 36, of Wilmington, Delaware.

There were no other vehicles involved in the crash, and a preliminary investigation showed no apparent use of drugs or alcohol as a result of the crash, Williams said.
The crash remains under investigation.
