According to police, the 15-year-old was last seen in Morris Township on Hanover Avenue on July 27 around 11 p.m. Acevedo, who also goes by the nickname Sho, has brown hair and brown eyes. She weighs around 138 pounds and is 5 feet 2 inches in height. Police say she has no cell phone. Acevedo has ties to Belvidere in Warren County as well as Somerset County and Palmer, PA. Anyone with information regarding the investigation is highly encouraged to call the Morris County Prosecutor's Office Missing Persons Unit On-Call Detective through the Morris County Communications Center at 973-285-2900. Anyone with information who may be seeking to remain anonymous can contact Morris County Crimestoppers at 1-800-743-7433.
