$208K Winning Lottery Ticket Sold At Morristown Shop

The winning ticket was sold at a grocery store in Morristown for the Wednesday, Aug. 16, drawing.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Check your numbers! Somebody who bought a New Jersey Lottery ticket in Morris County won some big bucks.

A lottery ticket sold at a local grocery store won the $208,713 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from the Wednesday drawing, NJ lottery officials said.

The winning ticket was sold at Ana’s Grocery Shop, 158 Speedwell Ave., Morristown.

"Congratulations to our very fortunate Jersey Cash 5 winner! We hope this incredible prize brings joy and happiness to the winner; we’re already looking forward to awarding another jackpot prize,” said New Jersey Lottery Executive Director James Carey.

The winning numbers were: 05, 09, 30, 34 and 35 and the XTRA number was: 03.

Ana’s Grocery Shop will also get a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
