28-Unit Apartment Building OK'd For Turtle Road in Morristown: Report

Board, builder settle on specs to push project forward, report says.

MORRISTOWN – A years-long battle with the Silverman Group, a developer looking to put stakes in the ground on Turtle Road, has come to a settlement that will result in an apartment building rising in the residential area.

A 28-unit, three-story building will be built on Turtle Road thanks to an approval from the Morristown Zoning Board, morristowngreen.com reported.

Parking spaces, originally applied for at 81, will be reduced to 53, the report said. The building will be erected on the same plot of land originally sought by the Silverman Group to build a daycare facility.
